Overview

Located in the heart of Kampung Peserai Pantai, Johor, Han's Coffee is a lively coffee shop that blends local charm with diverse flavors. Its setting on Lorong Sekolah Kebangsaan Peserai Batu 2 offers a cozy and approachable venue, perfect for families, friends, and casual diners looking for both a comfortable space and a varied menu.

The menu at Han's Coffee impresses with a mix of familiar comfort foods and inventive beverages. Signature drinks like the Biscoff Frappe, Caramel Macchiato, and Matcha Latte stand out as thoughtful takes on classic coffee shop staples, catering especially to those who appreciate a well-crafted caffeinated boost. For fruit tea lovers, selections such as the Tropical Punch and mixberry fruit tea add a refreshing tropical twist. The presence of unique local items like Yong Taufu Kering highlights the brand’s connection to its Malaysian roots.

On the food side, Han's Coffee offers a range of mains from Western-style dishes such as Fish and Chips and Bolognese Cheezy Fries to local favorites like Char Kuey Teow and Nasi Goreng Kampung, adding a diverse palette to the dining experience. The pizza, in particular, receives glowing praise for its soft, well-topped dough and balanced tomato sauce—a noteworthy option even when compared to renowned outlets in larger cities.

Customer experiences suggest that while the ambience is well-received, with compliments on the inviting and unpretentious environment, the execution of some dishes has been mixed. Some patrons found issues with seasoning or food arrival times, suggesting room for improvement in consistency and service warmth. Yet, others have lauded certain mains like the Lamb Chop, Spaghetti Carbonara, and Chicken Chop Buttermilk for their flavorful sauces and hearty portions, reflecting a depth in culinary effort when the kitchen hits its stride.

Han’s Coffee seems to appeal broadly to casual diners and coffee enthusiasts who appreciate value and variety, making it a community staple in Batu Pahat. The space is welcoming and unpretentious, suitable for both quick catch-ups and more leisurely meals. With its blend of local and international flavors, it holds potential as a spot to revisit, provided ongoing attention to food quality and customer service is maintained.

For those exploring Johor’s café scene, especially around Kampung Peserai Pantai, Han’s Coffee offers a flavorful and accessible option, combining a pleasant atmosphere with a menu that encourages exploration—from rich coffee creations to satisfying savory dishes.

Love the ambiance. The service is quite okay. Maybe you can ask your staff to smile more. Received my food a little late. I ordered lamb chop. It’s well marinated except it tasted so sour. Seems like they marinated the lamb using too much lemon. As i can’t bear the sourness, i rate the lamb chop 1/10. Overall, everything is fine, loved the fruit tea mixberry except for the lamb chop. Might come back again but obviously i will not be ordering lamb chop for the second time.

The chicken chop quite plain. The blackpepper sauce also taste weird, not even a hint of blackpepper the pepperoni pizza also plain. Idk maybe it was my bad luck, but the taste doesn’t match the price. Cant deny, the dough really soft. The fries are cold, waiting for half an hour for fries but it came cold. The cheesecake frappe also doesn’t taste good, more like taste the cheap whipping cream on cake. Please improve the quality of food and drinks.

IF your shop sells iced milo water, that's the best. The others are ok. There's tea and coffee. But there's no milo. There's only chocolate.

Not gonna lie, I didn’t expect Hans Cafe to be THIS good. I ordered the Chicken Chop Buttermilk and Ramen Buttermilk, kuah dia terasa My fam ordered Spaghetti Carbonara Lamb Chop. The lamb chop was juicy, the sauce sedap gila, and the carbonara? FULL of mushrooms, creamy, not kedekut langsung. Char Kuey Teow was also really good — isi banyak ayam udang .The Nasi Goreng Kampung was nice too, flavour-wise dia ada kick, just sayang sikit takde ikan bilis ngan sup kosong Now the real star — THE PIZZA. As someone who’s tried most of the famous pizza spots in KL (Pizza Mansion, Bluum’s etc.), this pizza is my no.1. The dough lembut gila, tomato sauce tak kedekut, topping full. Legit boleh beat Pizza Mansion, no joke. Coffee dia pun sedap gilaaa. My suggestion try the macadamia one if you’re a coffee lover. To the owner: please please maintain this quality. It’s been so long since my family and i balik raya and we ended up having such an amazing dinner — really hope to come back again next time!

Fantastic Improvement & Outstanding Service! I’ve noticed significant improvements at Hans Coffee, and it’s great to see that the management truly listens to customer feedback and takes positive action. This time around, despite the place being fully packed, the service was impressively quick! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and I’m already looking forward to trying the pizza next time. A special shoutout to the entire team for their friendliness, especially Adam Danish – his assistance was top-notch, and his politeness was truly commendable. If this were football, he’d be the Arif Aiman !, good assist. I’ll definitely be coming back again, and I highly recommend Hans Coffee to both Batu Pahat locals and visitors. This is my honest review – well done, Hans Coffee, you’re simply the best!
